Radius Housing came to us with a strong digital foundation already in place and a clear vision for where they wanted to go next. As a content-heavy platform, one of the biggest goals was bringing clarity and structure to a large volume of information, making it easier for users to find what they need without feeling overwhelmed. At the same time, the design language needed a refresh - something confident, modern and leading within the social housing sector. The outcome balanced usability with standout design, creating a clear, engaging experience that feels modern, confident and sector-leading.
A User-Centred Design and Build Process
The design process was centred around usability and accessibility, resulting in a clean, intuitive interface, that still incorporated Radius’ personality and flair to help them stand out against the crowd.
We simplified user journeys across the site, ensuring visitors can quickly and confidently navigate to the content they need. Clear homepage signposting, an improved navigation structure, and dedicated landing pages all work together to create a more logical and user-friendly experience.
The site is built with Craft CMS, providing a flexible and user-friendly content management experience. The site is structured around clearly defined content sections and reusable components, making it straightforward for content editors to update pages without development support.
Key functionality callouts include:
- Modular page sections that can be added, reordered, or updated directly in the CMS
- Centralised theming and styling controls, ensuring brand consistency across the site
- Simple content editing workflows, enabling non-technical users to manage updates efficiently
- Scalable architecture, allowing new sections or features to be introduced with minimal impact on existing content
