NIPANC's Vision
NIPANC were looking for more than just a website - they needed a digital partner who understood the charity sector and could guide them with best-practice functionality that truly supports their mission. A key priority was bringing the people behind NIPANC to the forefront. Every board member has first-hand experience of pancreatic cancer, and it was vital that this came through clearly and authentically. By putting real faces and real stories front and centre, the site needed to feel human, compassionate and deeply personal.
At the heart of the vision was showing just how much NIPANC does within the community, from hands-on support to the powerful testimonials of those whose lives they’ve impacted. While fundraising is essential, for NIPANC the biggest message was care - being there for people when it matters most. The website needed to communicate empathy first, with income generation working naturally alongside it. Seamless integration with their fundraising platform, Enthuse, ensured donating and getting involved felt simple, intuitive and aligned with the wider experience.
Built with Purpose, Designed for People
When designing the site, it was important to clearly cater for the different types of users visiting it - from those seeking information on symptoms and diagnosis, to people looking for bereavement support or guidance on helping someone else. We created clear, purpose-led landing pages with strong signposting from the homepage, making journeys through the site more intuitive and ensuring users can quickly find the information most relevant to them.
As a small charity organisation full of personality, we wanted NIPANC’s website to do more than act as a hub for support and information. It also needed to reflect the character of the charity and the people-centred fundraising and support work they do. Video and imagery are used throughout the site to keep people at the heart of the experience - just as they are at the heart of NIPANC’s mission.
Building the site with Craft CMS ensures NIPANC can confidently and easily manage their content going forward - a crucial consideration for a team supported by volunteers.
