Helping users find what matters, faster
We began with a thorough UX audit of the existing InterTradeIreland website. With so much information, support and programme options available, our focus was on helping users quickly understand what was relevant to them and navigate the site with confidence.
To improve the overall experience, we restructured and simplified the site’s navigation. This included introducing a single, overarching Programmes section organised by programme type, alongside a user-centred Support section framed around the key goals visitors come to the site to achieve. This shift ensured journeys were intuitive, purposeful, and designed around real user needs.
We introduced a goal-driven homepage widget that allows users to quickly identify relevant programmes based on their objectives - reducing friction and making it faster to find the right support.
We also applied consistent page structures across the site to create a more cohesive experience. Programme and landing pages now follow a clear, familiar format, helping content tell a strong, consistent story every time.
A renewed look and feel
Alongside the UX improvements, InterTradeIreland’s digital presence was visually refreshed with a bold new brand identity developed by Krow. Craft CMS allowed us to seamlessly reskin the existing site and efficiently roll out the updated look and feel with minimal disruption. Subtle, purposeful animation was introduced within key hero areas to add depth and energy to the experience, enhancing the brand without distracting from content or usability.
We think this enhanced user experience and refreshed visual identity ensure InterTradeIreland remains at the forefront of their sector, and breathes new life into their digital presence.
