Supporting a Rebrand with Clear Direction and Audience-Focused Design
The website project formed an important part of CCGANI’s rebrand journey. As the organisation evolved, there was an opportunity to create a digital presence that fully reflected their professionalism, clarity of purpose and authority. The new site was designed to make it easier for different audience groups to quickly access the information most relevant to them, while clearly communicating the agency’s role and the vital work they do.
The core objective of the new website was to:
- Support the transition from NIGALA to CCGA NI with a clear, confident digital presence
- Create dedicated landing pages for each key audience group:
- Children & Young People
- Parents & Carers
- Professionals
- Make it easy for users to quickly understand the agency’s role and access the right information
Designing for Clarity, Accessibility and Confidence
We worked in close collaboration with creative agency Page Setup, who led on the visual design elements of the rebrand. Together, we ensured that the new digital experience reflected both the updated identity and the professionalism of the organisation.
Our approach focused on clarity, structure and accessibility:
- Audience-Led Navigation: We introduced clearly defined landing pages for each primary audience group. This allowed users to self-select their pathway immediately on arrival, ensuring they were signposted to information tailored specifically to their needs.
- Clear Information Architecture: We restructured the site to make CCGANI’s role and responsibilities easier to understand. Content was simplified & grouped logically.
- Accessible & Inclusive Design: Accessibility was a key consideration throughout the build. The site was designed to be usable and inclusive, ensuring that children, families and professionals could all navigate it confidently.
- Flexible CMS for Ongoing Management: Behind the scenes, we implemented a content management system that enables the CCGANI team to update pages, publish resources and manage content efficiently - giving them long-term control and sustainability.
A Stronger Digital Presence for the Future
The new website successfully supports CCGANI’s transition from NIGALA, providing a digital platform that clearly reflects their updated name, purpose and professionalism.
Users can now:
- Quickly identify which section applies to them
- Access relevant information without confusion
- Better understand the agency’s role within court proceedings
The refreshed digital presence strengthens the organisation’s public profile and supports their ongoing work in safeguarding children’s rights.
We continue to support CCGANI with ongoing maintenance and technical guidance, ensuring the website evolves alongside the organisation’s needs.
