What inspired you to join Green17 as a project manager, and what is your background?

I’ve always loved working with people and helping to solve problems, which is what naturally drew me to this role. I really enjoy getting to know different people and businesses, understanding what they need, and helping them find the right digital solutions along the way.

I have over ten years experience working across web design and development, graphic design, and brand strategy, which has given me a broad understanding of how projects come together from start to finish. Having that background means I can see things from both a creative and technical perspective, and communicate clearly with everyone involved.

Now in my role as a Digital Project Manager, I get to bring all of this together. I love collaborating with teams, keeping projects on track, and making sure clients feel supported and confident throughout the entire process, from the first conversation right through to go live.

Are there any projects you have enjoyed getting stuck into most so far, and why?

I’ve really enjoyed jumping into all sorts of projects and getting to know so many different clients along the way. I love that no two days are ever the same. It keeps things exciting and honestly, I love the variety and the chance to learn something new every day.

How would you describe Green17 in three words?

Creative, Collaborative & Supportive

When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your free time?

When I’m not working, I’m a mum to a very energetic 6 year old daughter so “free time” is definitely a loose concept… When I do get a moment, I love filling it with fun adventures, and getting outside for walks with our little cockapoo Skye,  who makes sure we never miss a chance for fresh air (or a muddy puddle).

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?

I’m a woman of many stories, but I’ll keep it “blog” appropriate for now. One thing that often surprises people is that my real name isn’t actually Lizi or Elizabeth… it’s not Lizard either (tempting though!) -  it’s Megan. I’ve always gone by my middle name, and it turns out that it's a bit of a family tradition too. Please tell me I’m not the only person who’s been explaining their name since childhood!

If your career so far had a soundtrack, what song would be the anthem?

“I’m Still Standing” by Elton John.

After deadlines, after feedback, after one more quick change!
